I was a little hesitant about buying the Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Daily Nail Growth Program product because I thought that nothing could really make your nails grow faster than nature itself. I was wrong. After about a week of starting to use this product I was forced to clip my nails more frequent and noticed how healthy they looked. This product does everything that it claims it does and more. The polish inside the container appears pink but will completely dry clear. It has been dermatologist tested for safe use. I would recommend that anyone purchasing this product make sure to read the instructions as there is a specific way to apply to get your most desired effect. I only had to use this product for about a week before my nails were at their best. If you decide to color your nails, you can continue to use this product as a base coat or top coat or both. I am extremely proud to show off my nails now and would recommend this product to anyone.

I have used this product for a while. It has helped my nails grow after I had taken off acrylics. Now my nails are at a length that I like and it is all thanks to Maximum Growth and Hard As Nails nail hardener also by Sally Hansen. Both products work well when used together.

Out of all the nail growth products, I really like this the best. It feels good and like it's working (a cooling feeling). Also, after I use it, my nails look better and "cleaner". And they do grow. The other nail growth stuff works but it's too thick and doesn't seem to absorb into the nail as much. I bought this because I bite my nails a lot but I previously ordered a bunch of nail polishes so I wanted my nails to grow FAST. It looks and feels like oil. Its not really a polish...more like a treatment..which is probably what is it. My nails did get harder and gradually longer. I also used the Miracle Grow in the gold bottle but that became really thick and sticky within 2 weeks so I could not use it anymore. I give this 4 stars because the package (the actual box of the product) was sticky and had several tears. I thought the seller used it then sent it but it was only the box that was in bad condition. The product itself looked un-touched (kind of) with the liquid filled all the way to the top with some handprints on the handle/applicator. Nothing i'll get angry over but it was ..annoying.

I bought **Sally Hansen Maximum Growth** after a recommendation from a friend.  I always thought that it sucks when your nails break shortly before a big event because then they never grow back in time.  With Maximum Growth, that problem seems to be gone.  **Maximum Growth is filled with Silk Protein to "fortify, condition and support short nails"**.  In one week, the product claims you'll have stronger and longer nails.  How it works is you put it on every day for 5 days.  Then you take all layers off and repeat.  The product helps give your nails an extra layer of protection and I've found that I have less trouble with breakage as long as I have this on. My nails seem to grow back quicker than usual and they are all ready for the next event :) I've also learned NOT to use this when my nails are already long.  I've made that mistake a few times and my already long nails seemed to get even longer than I wanted them to. It's not meant to be just a clear nail polish, it's meant to help with growth so don't use it unless you need it. **It looks good too**.  It really just appears like you have clear nail polish on so it gives your nails the clean and shiny look.  In just a few minutes I have all my nails polished with one layer of this, and it dries very quickly too!  It's not the usual 10 minute drying time that other polishes have. **Overall:** I recommend everyone get a bottle of this for emergencies sake.  Use it before vacation or before an event to insure your nails are at their best.  Don't expect miracles, you can still break your nails if you aren't careful with your hands, but it does help keep them stronger.  If you want to your nails to be long and strong, use Maximum Growth to get them there!  Enjoy!

As a kid I was always biting my nails. My parents tried just about anything to get me to stop and nothing seemed to work. Until the time my mom promised me that if I stopped biting my nails she'd let me break school rules of only clear nailpolish and defend my right to wear the bright colours I wanted to. To help me grow my brittle nails she also got me a bottle of Sally Hansen Maximum Growth. Each day after school I'd paint a layer onto my manicured nails and admire them for a while. Lo and behold, my nails actually grew! Today I have beautiful long and very strong nails all the time. I go to the salon to get a pedicure and always get asked who did my fingernails because they look 'so natural!' I honestly don't know if when I used this product it really made a difference in how fast my nails grew, but it did a great job in convincing me that it was working. For that reason alone I have to give it a positive review. Maybe sometime I'll have to try it on my toenails to see if it actually makes them grew any faster - they grow so painfully slowly

My mother actually introduced me to Sally Hansen products and this is definitely something I hope to pass down when I have a daughter and we play dress up and I give her the "first manicure". This works! Flat out, period, it works. Any of the Sally Hansen products that claim to strengthen, lengthen, add vitamins....they do. They are good on their word when it comes to product performance. I use the base coats, the top coats and the regular polishes in all types of shades and formulas and they all hold up. This one in particular I use as a top and base coat. Great shine and gives a nice clean look if you just want clear nails. You will see results without question. If you buy it from a drug store you can use the coupons from the Sunday paper, online and even while on sale like a buy one, get one free deal. Stock up and just paint away. Great for hands and toes. Salon quality without the price.

Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Daily Nail Growth Nail lacquer is a very good product. My nails were weak for a long time, it was chipping for nothing and after starting use Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Daily Nail Growth, in only 2 days I started felling the diference. I use it either under or over normal nail lacquer. Sometimes I use it alone too. The quality is good, it does not herden easily, so the bottle lasts long. It is also easy to apply and dries very quick, that is one more reason it is good to use on the top of the regular nail lacquer, it acts as a protection preventing the nail lacquer to chip easily. Besides helping the nails get stronger, the product seems to help it growing too, because my nails are going really fast now, although I do not like my nails too long, I see it as a great plus. Sally hansen brand is a good brand, but for nail lacquers it was never my favorite. Some lacquers chip off too fast, but the grwoth treatment is definetely worth it.

I never thought i would one day be able to have long, strong, beautiful nails, but after using this product, i do! It is such a great product and it's not ridiculously expensive like some other brands. I love how it goes on clear because it's actually a great base coat and it strengthens at the same time! It's also easy to apply and dries very fast so no need to swing your hands around for an hour while waiting for it to dry. I don't know what the ingredients in it that make your nails grow but after just one week, i saw a huge improvement. My nails used to constantly break and they're very dry and brittle and split constantly. I was so fed up with having ugly nails and knew that i needed to find a product to help me. I've always admired people with long nails and now im one of them with this miracle product. It really does what it says and in a short time too. I don't know if my nails are strong enough to open a can with (like some other products claim in their pictures), but im really happy with the results.

When my nails starting breaking and peeling, my friend recommended sally nail growth and it worked like a miracle. It made my nails stronger and there was no chipping anymore. I usually apply only one coat even though it say you should apply for 5 days then remove the polish. This polish is very useful when used as a clear polish and its good for my nails. I have had this bottle for almost 3 years and i still have 1/3 of the bottle left. Nail polish products usually last a while. This is the only product that I will probably have to repurchase again from the store. I got this bottle with a french manicure set but the other two products I did not like too much and I've only used them a few times before I gave up trying to make use of it. This polish is the only thing that I use and it has made purchasing the set worth it. This product is also good as a base coat under nail colors. It is the only base coat that I use when painting my nails.

This is a decent product but I wouldn't recommend getting her makeup.  They started out in nails and they need to stick there. Then they got into lipsticks and lip plumpers and I think they went way outside of their expertise......not that nails are rocket science and I don't think they know much too much about that either.  Ask anyone who has a science degree and they will tell you that nail polish is loaded with chemicals and not the safest stuff around. Well, it has been around a long time and so has Sally Hansen.  Is she even still alive if there is such a person.  If she is still alive, I wonder what she would think of all the new stuff out there.  I guess she would be happy that her company is making money - the number one reason anyone goes into business and sells things.  On the other hand, she might not be too happy that their products in the makeup line have fallen short as far as quality goes.
