Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Extreme Wear Review

As a busy mom who is always on the go, I don't have a lot of time (or money) to spend on nails.  I like to look nice and feel feminine, but most of the time I am so hard on my hands that nail polish doesn't last very long for me.  That is, until I tried Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Nail Color.

While shopping at Walgreens for something different, I saw a fun display of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtree Nail Color nail polish.  The colors were so trendy and different, they caught my eye right away.  I've used Sally Hansen nail polish before and thought it was "okay" but really nothing special. 

The saleswoman at Walgreens saw me looking at the display and walked over to me and said, "You'll love that nail polish.  It lasts forever!"  Well, the price was right (I think $ 2.99) so I picked a fun shade of blue (YES BLUE!) and bought it.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color went on very easily, but the first coat didn't seem to cover very well.  I had to apply a second coat to get it to look even and even then....I wasn't sure if it looked okay.  Perhaps it was the blue color?  After the nail color dried, however, it looked fresh and turned out looking very even and dried without smearing.  But did I like the blue?

It turned out that I DID like the blue color I selected.  If was different and felt summery and seemed to match everything I wore.  But what amazed me most was how well Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color lasted!!  I have never, NEVER, had a nail polish that lasted so long.  They don't call it "Xtreme Wear" for nothing!  It lasted for over a week without chipping or flaking or even fading.  I was highly impressed with this product.

With Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color, you can literally match your manicure to your mood.  With over 30 colors to choose from, you can find one to match your personality and your wardrobe.  Select from traditional reds, pinks, mauves, and neutrals colors, or go crazy (like I did) and pick out a trendy blue, wild purple, or mysterious black nail color.  Whichever color you select, be sure you want to wear it for awhile because it really lasts a long time!

Just because this nail polish is "Xtreme Wear" doesn't mean that it's hard to remove.  I had no problem at all removing it with regular nail polish remover.  It came right off, and I was ready to apply the next color. 

I noticed that the bottle of Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme Nail Color was a little different than other bottles of nail polish.  The design is a little more compact, and the handle to the brush was a little wider and rounder too.  I thought it was easy to hold, and easy to control when you apply the nail polish.

Bottom Line -  If you don't have a lot of time to spend on your nails, and you're looking for a nail color that will really last, I highly recommend Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme Nail Color.  You can find it at department stores, pharmacies, and so on.  For a low price of less than $ 3.00, it's money well spent.  ANYTHING that makes life easier is money well spent!
