After the horrible experience with the e.l.f. nail polish I used a couple weeks ago, I decided to go to Target and pick up a brand that I know works - Sally Hansen.  While perusing all the different types of Sally Hansen nail polish (there are many!), I picked out the Hard As Wraps nail polish.

The Sally Hansen Hard As Nails - Hard As Wraps nail polish seemed like it would be a perfect fit for me because it is made with acrylic gel and nylon.  Together they are supposed to give you strong, hard nails like the acrylic gel in artificial nails that ladies get at the salon.

Sally Hansen says: "Patented formula with Acrylic Gel seals and hardens nails with an
instant, long-lasting wrap-like surface and a smooth, shiny finish.   Nylon fortifies nails and helps prevent chipping, splitting and peeling."

I love dark colored nails, but I hate the way they look after they chip, so I got a light, shimmery color called "Sheer Petal Gloss".  It is a beautiful iridescent pink color.  I like it because it is sheer so you can see your nails underneath it.

So I applied one coat in the morning and immediately noticed that my nails felt stronger already.  I waited until the next day to apply the second coat.  After the second coat dried, I love the way my nails felt!  They didn't feel quite as hard as artificial nails, but they were very strong and hard.  This is definitely my new favorite nail polish!

After 3 days...my nails still look beautiful and feel great.  Since the color of the nail polish I used is light and iridescent, it is hard to see any wear on my manicure.  There definitely aren't any chips!

The Scoop!

I will going back to Target to get several colors of this Hard As Wraps nail polish.  It is by far the best nail polish I have ever used.  If you need a nail polish that will give you beautiful color, strong nails and a lasting manicure, this is for you.

I finally bought Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Hard As Wraps nail polish last week. I've been wearing it for a few days and I love it. You and LoveIsJoy recommended a great nail polish. I bought the Sheer Lilac color, but I think next time I will get the clear. I'm used to wearing clear or almost clear nail polish. Thanks again! =)

Your'e welcome. I just bought it at Target and it was like $3.79 or something like that. Let me know what you think!

I love Sally Hansen nail polish. They are always inexpensive to buy. I need to get me some of this when I'm Target tomorrow. Thank you for the helpful review. ;-) ~Krista Lynn

Well, it is really nice to sit and get your nails done, but it is over-rated! I would much rather do them my self with a a bottle of $3.49 nail polish and spend my money elsewhere - out to dinner!

Don't you just love this? It's inexpensive and really does give a great manicure. I save myself tons of money by doing my own nails. I've never had a professional manicure (although my daughter tells me I should splurge, just once) :-)

I wouldn't go frequently enough to utilize the card. Thanks for the info though!

Sally Hansen makes some wonderful nail care products and polishes. I use these when I'm not buying O.P.I. Someone also reminded me that if you have the club card for Sally Beauty Supply you can usually get this stuff at a discounted price. The club card is only $5. ~Gigi
