Do not purchase unless you want to look like an Oompa Loompa.

Please save your money and do NOT buy this spray. I am a redhead and have very fair skin. I can not tan. I instead fake bake a little bit just so I have some type of color. I've tried a lot of self-tanning products. This may be the worst one yet. I'm trying to think of where to start with the problems associated with the product: 1. When you spray it, make sure you cover your hair, your shirt, and do it in an open space or you may have orange all over the mirror behind you and gagging from the smell... 2. Spraying the product onto your face with your eyes closed sort of a challenge. I mean you known where your face is but it's just awkward. 3. Oh and because you can't see your face until after you have sprayed it on, you don't have much of a chance to fix any unevenness that well. 4. You use your fingers to blend it prior to spraying it on but really it's kind of too late for blending and you will probably be splotchy and uneven. 5. The color...It can be described as a dorito color...a cheeto color...an oompa loompa...It was so orange. Ugh. Seriously, don't buy the product. I definitely do not recommend it AT ALL. Ick.

Unless you enjoy blotchy spots, I do not recommend this product at all. The spray can doesn't apply how it should, but instead spits out the tanning product inside the can. Also, product washes off quickly and looks even more blotchy than it did when it was originally applied.

Orange-ish skin!!

I bought the Sally Hansen Airbrush Face Tanner and sprayed it on my skin and face. First of all, I did not like the smell of the tanner spray and it just smelled so strong and artificial! Also, after several hours, I noticed that the color on my face was uneven and looked kind of orange!

Not the product I thought it was going to be

I expected this product to make my face look tan and instead I ended up looking orange and it turned out darker in some places. I do not like this product. My lips were stained orange forever. Make sure that you close your eyes if you do end up using this product because it sprays everywhere even if you do not point it in that direction. Effectiveness It was supposed to come out tan and it came out orange. Not what was supposed to happen so no I was not happy with this product. The color washed off in a few washes thankfully but I was not pleased and I will not be using this product again. Ease of Application This product is easy to apply but that does no good if the product does not work the way it is supposed to. The color came out everywhere not just where I pointed it. Does not provide a even application either. Scent Smells like a self tanner. Almost like a chemical smell and you end up smelling like it for a long time even after you stop using the product. Longevity Not a even application. Would not recommend this product to anyone.

I loved this Item

Ok I loved this item.  It made my face look awesome and very easy to apply.  HOWEVER once I used my bottle up I could never find it again in stores and so that was it.  Then I discovered mineral makeups and now wont go back to any other makeup. Here is how I applied this.  First I moisturized very well.  Then I sprayed into my hands then applied from my hand.  Never a mess, never a problem and I loved how my face looked.

***Quick View:*** Interesting concept. Disastrous results. ***My Ridiculous Sally Hansen Airbrush Tan for Faces Experience**** ** *You may laugh if you like. I did not when it was happening but am beginning to see the humor in it all now... The directions say to wash and moisturize your face before applying and I did. Having primed my oh so pale skin for my new tan, I then wondered, if I was going to spray this stuff on, and my eyes would be closed, how would I know where I am spraying? This became a source of several modifications. I removed my top altogether. That way, I couldn't possibly ruin my clothing if I misfired. Then there was my hair. I didn't want to spray that I decided to wrap it in a towel to protect it from the spray. I never considered the wall behind me... The instructions say to shake the can well and hold it 12 inches from my face and apply the spray using a circular motion. Then quickly blend and leave it alone for six hours. Six hours? That's a long time to not apply anything to my face unless I am asleep which I didn't think was a good idea. The color is supposed to begin developing in one hour and continue for up to 12 hours. The final result should last a week. I shook the can, took off the cap and closed my eyes. I started to spray but, because my eyes were closed, I didn't know where I was spraying. Sure, I knew it was in the vicinity of my face, but, because you have to spay quickly and in circular motions, I was only hoping that just my face was getting the spray and nothing else. This is when I realized the smell was very strong. It is like a very, very fake coconut smell that is not at all pleasant. I would have much preferred an odorless spray to the overwhelming fake odor. Having sprayed my face, I opened my eyes. I realized I sprayed my eyelids and under eyes as well as the towel on my hair, and the wall behind me. Wait, I didn't realize the wall mishap just yet. It had to "tan" before I realized I saw it. I quickly blended the spray into my face in a circular motion and realized that I was doing exactly what I do with all face tanners. I was applying and blending into my face with my fingers, My Coppertone for Faces and others work the same way, only they are cream and I can actually see where the tanner is going. Once blended, I saw no color change at all. I left the room and went to work on my computer. About two hours later, I looked and my face was tan. Er...sort of. It was...tan/orange. And somewhat uneven. And my eyelids and under eye area were also tan. No one tans their eyelids! I was orange and looked crazy. ***My Ridiculous Viewpoint ***The application is ridiculous, the margin of error is high, the price per ounce is quite high, and the results are spotty at best. If you like orange faces and you don't mind tanning your eyelids, under your eyes and lips, spray away. Just be sure you cover your hair unless you like the idea of orange hair. And there is the wall behind you thing to consider... Unless you are incredibly curious (like me), skip this and buy a good cream tanner for your face. This is just a silly idea gone terribly wrong. ***1 ridiculous star.***
