One of the best- known loan makers for students, Sallie Mae Student Loans is a name commonly associated with easy student credit and this is one of the qualities that most reviewers like about Sallie Mae. The ease of applying for a loan and the ability to get your interest rate lowered are other reasons to use Sallie Mae Student Loans and one satisfied reviewer simply says these are “Convenient Student Loans”. On the other hand, there are those who feel Sallie Mae makes life a little too easy, like one reviewer who says “I Will Never be Out of Debt With Them”. Because the company constantly lowers your payments and stretches them out over long periods of time, it is possible to reach the point where it will take decades to eliminate this debt. Sallie Mae makes it very easy for you to lower your payments on your student loan. Unfortunately it means you will owe them forever.  Of course by lower payment I mean youpay the interest only but non of the actuall amount owed.  My student loan is higher today 15  years after graduation than it was when I graduated.

I have all of my student loans through Sallie Mae. Although I feel that their service is acceptable, I have several thoughts about it. First of all, their website is exceedingly difficult to navigate. Headers are misleading and it is often difficult to get back to where you want to go. I do, however, enjoy that once I can find them, my loans are divided very visually and I can see exactly how much of my payments have been attributed to each. Secondly, I have had HUGE issues paying off extra on my loans. Convient student loans
in debt, saving a little

SallieMae makes it really easy to apply and receive a student loan. Even someone who has bad or no past credit history can be accepted with a co-signer. My co-signer had excellent credit, but my interest rate was still pretty high for the prime being so low right now. Where they lack in interest rates, they make up in customer service. I've called them several times and each time I called, I speak with a clear talking, polite person who seems to be there to help me out and not just try to cheat me out of money. Scam!!!!! You will never be out of debt!!!!!!!!1

Got a loan with them in 2003.. I now owe 4000 more then when I started and have been paying 190 a month since late 2003. My payments started at 100 then kept going UP.... And yet my balance NEVER goes down... I hate them and wish I could get rid of the loan.....

NEVER get money from them.................
