Te Saitek eclipse II is an awesome keyboard! Looks wise it is a very attractive looking keyboard and futuristic. It looks good with the lights off too!  Lights come in three flavors which are blue, red and purple. I like to cycle between them depending on mood. They come very much in handy when you like to be on the computer in the dark. This was a definite plus when I lived in a bad neighborhood and had to keep the lights off late at night for my late night gaming or surfing sessions. Having said that, the keyboard does a good job of lighting up your room with ambient light. The keyboard is also very functional! The included wrist pad is very helpful and looks good. The keys bounce back well and i also love the tactile feel on the key surface.  Of the many decent priced keyboards I checked out at the store's display, the Eclipse II was very high ranking amongst them. Bonus keys included with the keyboard are volume dials which are very convenient when u don't want to exit out to windows to adjust the volume.  There's also the color changer button, mute and some music player buttons as well. Overall a very solid keyboard!

I'm so glad I decided to buy it.** **First of all, it's stunning. You have a glossy piano black keyboard that matches most of today's computers ,with a silver trim. The keys are backlit so you can easily see what you're doing. You can choose blue, purple or red backlighting. The sides of the keyboard are also lit, which makes pools of light on your desk so you can see things on your desk. You can adjust the brightness and your computer's audio volume with a couple of buttons. The keys are springy and feel good to type on. There's an ergonomic wrist rest that slides out. If my Saitek Eclipse 2 ever wears out, I'll definitely buy the same keyboard again.**

I love my Saitek Eclipse keyboard.  Nices of all the features is the backlighting...thats right a backlight keyboard with full size keys!  I have seen many backlit keyboards that had the low profile 'tactile' type keys.  This keyboard is standard full size keys with awesome backlighting.  Even better is a choice of colors for the backlight, red, violet or blue.  In addition to the backlighting is a fader dial so you can adjust the brightness of the backlight or turn it off completely.  For those of us that are not pure touch typists this really can help in a dimly lit or completely dark room.  Since I have a PC in my bedroom and often have the light off this keyboard can be adjusted so its not too bright.  The feel of the keys on this keyboard is is smooth and the keys have a good solid springback.  While many times we really don't put much though into a keyboard, this is a nice addition to any PC, and actually is a nice addition to almost any room.  As I said...I Love this keyboard
