This gate works great for us - helping us keep our twins safe. The gate is easy to open and close - easy enough to do with one hand. one handed baby gate

I thought I'd never find a gate I liked until the Safety first Lift and Lock Gate. I love the handle on top. It takes a little to get it set, but once set to the width you want, it's so easy to use. I can move it one handed when I have laundry or the baby in my arms. It's sturdy and you can bolt it to the wall if you want. I can see where a shorter person may not like it because you couldn't step over it, but I have no problem, even if I was shorter it's so easy to open and move with one hand then replace it wouldn't matter how tall it was.
