I registered for this gate mainly because it was higher than other safety gates and it seemed to have fairly good reviews.  It's an okay gate, but I've had some problems with it.  First - it was very difficult to get it adjusted to fit the doorway we were using it in.  Once we managed to get it set, it was fine, but setting it was a royal pain.  It's also tricky to step over if you have shorter legs - especially with the handle sticking up.  The handle with the lock is very stiff, making it difficult to open and close quickly - there have been times it's taken me a few minutes to get it locked.   Not really practical if you have a toddler trying to get in.

On the plus side - it is a sturdy gate and it stays in place well.  It also comes with hardware to mount it to the wall with - though I wouldn't use it as a top of stair gate since it still relies on pressure to keep it in place.

We've ended up leaving this gate at my parent's house and only use it in low-traffic areas.  For the high traffic doorways, we went and got a more practical gate.
