Safety 1st swivel bath ring Review

I have mixed opinions on this bath chair. I did not buy the bath chair but it was given to me. I like that it just looks like a simple seat. Unfortunately with my tub it doesn't suction because I have a stupid plastic tub insert thing. BUT if i'm in the bath with baby i can hold it down so the suction doesn't matter. My son is fixated on the colored rings on the front of the seat so he sits still really nice in it. As far as safety goes with this seat, it seems that it would be easy for baby to slip out of it if you weren't holding baby or hovering right over baby. But when we are taking a co-bath which I prefer anyways so I don't have to worry about getting wet; this seat works great for us. I like how it holds him in place and gives him something to focus on. He can also feel like a big boy sitting up in this instead of laying down in a baby bath tub. I still have a mixed opinion on this seat.. But I like it for the most part, it works for us.
