Safety 1st Starter Infant Car Seat Review

Our Safety 1st carseat was given to us from a friend who had just had a baby and no longer needed theirs which was a great blessing. It is a good carseat and does just fine to keep our baby safe and is easy to take care of. I'll just do this likes and dislikes.

Likes:

Cover is easy to take off, wash and put back on which comes in handy if you have a baby who spits up a lot or who poops all over as ours did :)

Dislikes:

It took us forever to figure out how to fasten the base in the car. In fact a few times when we changed cars, we didn't even use the base because it was too frustrating to try and figure out just how to fasten it without the instructions.

The sunshade on our seat is all bent. I'm not sure if it was the Arizona heat or what we can attribute it to. It just looks all askew.

If I was buying a carseat I probably wouldn't buy this kind just because of the frustration in getting it into the car. Also we now need another car seat now that our daughter is just 5 months old.
