The Safety First NIghtlight is great! It has an adjustable wheel setting on the bottom of the light that allows you to control the amount of light it puts out.  This was expecially useful for when my son was a newborn. I didn't want to put on the full light in his room when he would wake up in the middle of the night for a diaper change or a feeding. The adjustable wheel allowed me to put on just the right amount of light so i could see what i was doing, but kept it dark enough in the room so it make him think it was time to be up for the day.  It also screws into the wall so that the little...

I didn't know exactly what I was getting when I ordered it from diapers.com. It's a wall outlet cover that has a night light on top. You have to turn the plug outlet with the appliance plug in order to use the plug. I.e. when not in use, the two slots for the plug rest askew. When you plug-in the appliance, you turn the outlet cover with the plug in order to use it. Not sure if that makes sense, but it's safe with or without using an appliance in terms of lack of outlet hazard, and it has a light-sensitive night light on top that the baby/toddler doesn't seem to be interested in.
