Safety 1st Baby Monitor we are using is a wonderful way for us to be able to sleep knowing that our daughter is moving or waking up or crying. The monitor is set by her crib and anytime she even makes a simple roll over or sniffle our receiving ends will light up and we can hear the sound. We live in a home and our bedroom is about 80 feet from our daughters and even with both of the doors closed the monitor picks up movement and sounds just fine. I bought this baby monitor for when I have my grandbaby stay with me. I liked the idea that it came with a night light on it and shuts off after being on for awhile because sometimes I forget to shut them off. It also come with a built in tempature gague to tell you the tempature of the baby's room which is great since you don't want the room to cold or to hot. The price of the baby monitor was a very good price for what you get. I would of paid a little more. It comes with two parts. a baby monitor from safety 1st, does a lot to make you feel secure in knowing that your child is  safely sleeping . and, this also comes with the satisfaction of not needing to spend lots of money; especially in these times.  it ahving a night light is an added bonus.

this equipment does not take up unnecessary space either... i have the base in my kitchen during the afternoon nap time.. and unless a person hears it, they would not notice it sitting there

i have used other monitors in the past, that have had static and "noise" coming from them. that has not happened with this one for me.......
