Safety 1st Baby Monitor Review

Giving this baby monitor to an expectant Mother & Father, is like giving them a little piece of mind.  We received the Safety 1st Baby Monitor as a gift when my son was born, and I still have it today.  And yes!  It still works.  In fact, I still use it even though my youngest son is seven.

With the Safety 1st Baby Monitor, you can hear EVERYTHING that is happening in the room your child is in.  You put one monitor in the room with the baby and then you keep the other one with you.  I always plugged in the one with the baby and used batteries for the one with me.  This way I could carry it with me if I went on the front porch, or outside for a breath of fresh air.  And it was like I was still in the room with my baby.  If the baby sighed, I could hear it! 

This particular monitor was very reliable.  I never went out of range with it, and always had great reception.  When the baby cried, I heard it.  If the baby was sick, I heard that too.  If I was trying to sleep, I'd just turn the volume on my monitor down slightly.  This way, I wouldn't hear the little things, but I'd hear anything important.

Like I said, I still use my Safety 1st Baby Monitor.  I'm just more sneaky about it now.  If my boys are arguing and I have to step out of the house, I place one of the monitors within earshot of them.  Later, I know EXACTLY who started the fight and my kids can't figure out how I know!  I know, it's sneaky, but I need all the help I can get.  I'm raising two boys!  ;-)
