SOYJOY - Soy Snack Bars with Dried Fruit —
Well - these are not going to hit the spot like a Baby Ruth but if that's what you're looking for go to the candy isle. I think they are perfect. While trying to lose weight but avoid that hunger feeling these are great. So many diet/health bars have that strange aftertaste and are loaded with calories. They are also usually filled with a dense mystery filling and melt if you leave them in a hot car. SoyJoy has 130-140 calories/bar. The bars are small but perfect for a quick pick-me-up or breakfast. They have lots of flavor and texture which are the two things I miss the most when cutting back on calories. My favorite flavor is peanut chocolate followed by apple. The mango coconut and raisin almond are good also. To me they taste like a biscotti before the second bake. In fact - you could bake the SoyJoy bars and make SoyJoy biscotti pretty easily. I may have to try that! Also - not to be gross but with those "other" bars I end up burping them all day. That does not happen with SoyJoy - just compare the ingredient lists and you'll see why. I'm a big fan of SoyJoy and here's another tip - they are on ebay by the case!
