Quick View: My hair is very long. I don't cut it myself but I do have long bangs. I refuse to go to a salon to have them trimmed every couple of weeks. These are professional shears but are very inexpensive. Some of the shears I looked at were almost $200.00! That would be crazy for me since I only trim my bangs. I took a chance on a seven dollar pair of shears figuring, if they were dull or didn't work well, I could just use them as everyday scissors around the house. To my surprise, these are very sharp and cut with precision. They are all stainless steel and very simple which is all I need. They cut evenly and sharply through my hair with no snags and no uneven pieces. If I were to try to cut my own hair (ACK) or cut someone else's, I probably would go for something more expensive but, for simple trimming of my bangs (and my husband's mustache), these work just fine and are a great buy.
