Vampires, Egyptian lore, the Devil, aliens, immortals and werewolves are all things that make up our myths and legends. SHADOW DANCERS are about those myths.
James Brooks is a Shadow Dancer. He has the ability to take a human body just after it dies and become that person. He is innumerable years old and is a warrior whose purpose is to keep the evil in the world from overtaking the good. Tricia Morningstar and her friend, Brad Thomas are attached in the park. Tricia is saved by James from the werewolves attach but he is too late to save Brad. They tear him literally limb from limb.
Jeffery Cole is the police detective that is given the job of investigating this attack. He and his partner cannot even begin to understand what they see. Even better is the fact that James was mortally wounded in the attack but when then detectives question him the next morning, he is all but healed. Trying to talk with James, they get nowhere.
Then James disappears from his hospital room. This only creates more questions that cannot be answered. They talk with Tricia but no one will believe her when she describes the attack. For years, Tricia has felt flickers of insight but her family wouldn't believe her either. What will happen to her? The FBI gets involved with their Special Investigations Division. They take over the case.
James goes to see Tricia and Cole has been watching Tricia's apartment. As the three of them talk, the FBI takes over. Just then, the werewolves attack again. After this attack, everyone begins to talk and listen in earnest. The big question - how to stop the werewolves from taking Tricia. Read the book to find the answer.
The book has a lot of detail about what the Shadow Dancers are and what they can do. If you are a fan of the supernatural, this will keep you engrossed until the end of the book.
