SEE GREAT FILMS THIS WEEK Review

The cream of the crop! The stars of yesterday and today! Oscar winners! All genres! Foreign films! Dramas! Comedies! Killers! Lovers! A slate of films that should be seen by everyone and if you have seen them all are worthy of seeing again.

Liz Taylor goes crazy, Ingrid Bergman thinks she is crazy and Joan Crawford drives everyone crazy! Sylvester Stallone knocks them out and THE shark drags them down with Richard Widmark throws an old women down the stairs in his first film and Marlene Detrich is not to be trusted. Chaplin falls in love, silently, while Kathleen Turner and Mike Douglas have a noisy divorce. Russell Crowe plays gay, Chocolat is as sweet as its namesake and the Black Book is dangerous while Ralph Feines gives a performance not to be forgotten in Sunshine and Joan Fontaine wins her Oscar.

These films are in many cases equal to today's if not better.
