Its compatible for all ipods.The music is clear and loud. You can wake up to your music by making a playlist or let it play from the first artist on your ipod to last.You can go to settings and turn shuffle songs on so you hear the songs playing in random order when you wake up.The music plays low at first and eventually gets really loud when you wake up to the alarm of your ipod.
