budget conscious, an avid reader
Pros

    good price, modem still works after 2yrs, helpful customer service

Cons
    no english speaking operators

I like the service that I have received.  I am not looking for a new provider.  I have recommeded SBC to friends and family.  Considering Comcast is not an option( I have received many offers from them) .  The service is great for the price. I even have this combined with my land line and cell service for even more savings.
