Sabbath is a smaller budget zombie film but it packs a punch and can hold its own with the likes of any zombie film.   Sabath starts out with a lady standing by the side of the road you can tell she is sad by the vibe she is giving off.   The whole time in a truck a man is getting drunk as you see with the ton beer cans in his car.

He decides to go to this small store to take some things without paying. Thats when we notice the store clerk is shot dead on the ground. As the man stuffs his pockets with his loot.   The dead store clerk rise up like as if he wasnt dead but the bullet hole in his skull proves this man should be dead.   As the small time crook heads on his way he notice strange things are happening he notice that the dead are coming back to life.

So a small band of humans come together, each other different in their own way, The sad lonely lady, the small time crook, a crazy preacher carsalesman, two mama boys. And yes did I mention that the reaper or death is out to collect the souls that belong to him.   As the gates to heaven is gaurded by a heavenly lady who must only let one more soul into heaven while all the others are cast out to spend forever among the walking dead.   Sabbath has a lot cool kills in it, a few new ideas that I havent seen in other horror movies before. The blood and guts are not over the top the gore parts are added perfectly in this movie.

I was really amazed at the idea of how heaven can only let one more soul inside before it shuts the gates forever. I think Sabbath is one the best smaller budget horror films of all time. This movie screams cult favorite. If your a fan of horror or zombie films then Sabbath is for you.   I love the music score  gives a creepy vibe to the film. And how the humans who band together seem to butt heads an not get along. This film touches home. Cause I bet in some way that humans would act like this, they would not get along and not work together.

You soon find out why all the humans who are alife are still walking the earth. You find out towards the end why all these people were brung together to band together fight off the living dead. You also find out why the reaper and the heavenly lady who guards the gates to heaven was sent down to earth for. Sabbath is one amazing smaller budget horror film. It is a all around great film.

The preacher man in Sabbath carrys his part well. He gives us a hint of why all this may be happening. The whole time there something in the basement of the house making noise. You soon find out that the two Mama Boys have plans of their own.   What is very spooky is that the sad lady and the small time crook both find out they have cross paths before in life, both seem to know that each other lifes was ruin the day they met. Its kind of a sad ending to this movie. One the few horror movies that can capture all the human emotions inside you. Its truely a horror gem and its one the rare films that have brung new ideas to the horror films genre.

Sabbath is a film  that is worth watching its a greatly done film. The gore and kill parts are one of a kind ideas. Adds a perfect touch to a perfectly done horror movie.   I would tell anyone and everyone to add Sabbath to your zombie movie collection, its a horror fan must have.
