We registered for one of the S.C. Products Shampoo Rinse Cups and received one at one of the baby showers. We thought that it would be a neat tool to have to aid us during bath time, and it has been used over and over again with great results. The premise is easy enough, for the shampoo cup to help keep water from going down your baby's face while you are giving them a bath. It provides the perfect results every time, and has even turned into almost a toy for when its bath time.
The shampoo cup is almost used like a bucket, where you fill it up with warm water and set it aside for when you are mid-way through giving your baby a bath. You then use the shampoo cup to wet your baby's hair. On the front of the shampoo cup is a soft rubbery panel that you set against your baby's head, and it allows you to maneuver the cup so that no water is coming down into your baby's face. It works great, and allows you to first wet their hair, and then later on to rinse the shampoo out of their hair.
The S.C. Shampoo Rinse Cup holds 48 ounces of water, which is more than enough to rinse off your baby's head after you have washed it. The cup comes in several different colors, or which we have a light blue colored one. It is also very durable, with a strong handle that doesn't feel like it will break off while you are using it. The S.C. Shampoo Rinse Cup sells for less than five dollars, so it is very affordable, but it gives you the ease of use that makes it worth far more than that.
