I bought this saw a little over a year ago and boy was it a great buy. It retails for $99 at Home Depot and I got it on sale for $79. After building 100' of 6' privacy fence, putting a border around my 36'x90' driveway, 50' of sidewalk border and a 14'x14'x2' raised flower garden it's still barely broke in. It has table locks at all the popular angles (both ways left and right) and for those angles that just need to be different (like some people...lol) you can manually lock that in as well. At 10" the blade will work well with most any size wood your going to use for fixer up projects around your house. Every bit of wood I have used it on has been treated lumber and the blade is as sharp now as it was when it came out of the box.

For extra help they have added a removable material support bar that can be used on either side of the saw to help hold your lumber as you cut it. There is also a clamp that will help hold your lumber securely in place so it doesn't jump on you as you cut. As a safety measure you can lock the arm down with the blade guard covering the blade for those curious children to prevent accidents from happening. As another concern of many buying a small table top saw, you can also bolt it down to your bench with predrilled anchoring holes. I prefer to use 2 large C-clamps as I tend to grab it and take it next to a project for less wasted time walking across my rather large yard.

On the rear is a sawdust collection bag to help reduce the flying sawdust in your shop, here is where the only drawback is. The bag doesn't hold a lot, perhaps about a coffee can full. So for those bigger jobs you need to empty it often. Which is easy to do, just squeeze, grab it, unzip dump and go again. I will be adding a larger system to it soon, by adding a short piece of 1 1/4" tubing through a hole in  my bench and dumping into a container underneath my bench.

I bought an extra 10" blade at the same time, just knowing with treated lumber I was going to need a spare. Nope I was fooled as the carbide tipped blade is still going strong. At 5000 rpm the blade just glides through your work. As always never wear a loose shirt and wear your goggles when you are using a power tool.

In closing I would say if you need a great tool to build your wood projects, not only straight but also miter cuts, this is the tool for you. I will list the specs for it below.
