I didn't find Rutgers University to be as good as it was sold to me. Prices, especially for a state school, seemed high. While I was there, they eliminated many of the olympic sports, yet funneled more money towards the football program. Class size was large for many classes, which is to be expected...

I started my higher education at a small liberal arts college and quickly found out that it wasn't for me. Everyone at the school was a clone of themselves. They all had the same backgrounds and social status. Everyone knew everyone and everything about everyone..there was no separation or diversity. I transferred to Rutgers after my freshman year and fell in love immediately. Every day I met someone new and the opportunities are boundless.
