I was looking for a good quality white paint to make some wall hangings out of the waste. My purpose was to cover some wood and cardboard boxes white so I could work on them. That is when I came across the Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Ultra Cover Flat White Paint. As the name suggests it provides twice the coverage compared to other paints so, all I needed was a single coat to cover the pieces. I am a huge fan of spray paints since they help completing the project faster and mess free as well. The paint takes 20 minutes to dry to touch, an hour to handle and approximately 24 hours to dry inside out. I have also used this paint as a base coat to later cover with acrylics. Overall, it is a drip free, mess free, chip free paint that covers all the possible flaws. Need not to say but, I always open the windows and keep the room well ventilated while painting around. I will continue to paint till the time these easy to use spray paints are around!

I love this spray paint so much I asked for it for Christmas. It has amazing smoothe, crackle free coverage on a wide variety of surfaces including glass and plastic! It turns garbage out of the recycling bin into instant flower vases and gift boxes. Usually one coat is all that is needed, unless there's a lot of red dye in the material you are painting, red seems to seep through white paint most. The cost is not as cheap as cheap gets but I still consider it an incredible value, as fewer coats are required and projects turn out better. This makes a great base coat for other paints, such as acrylics, and turns any object into a pristine canvas. Though these can rinse off the smooth surface texture of the rust oleum so use a clear top coat to fix your masterpiece. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone who needs a spray paint, as some jobs require. Just as a warning, it doesn't always mix well with cheaper spray paints. Make sure to fully dry and cure each layer if you plan to do a cheaper top coat. This can also has the best drip free nozzle I've seen.

Rust-Oleum Painters Touch Ultra Cover: Sometimes cheaters win!

So, here I am after a spring and summer of skinnying down that "Honey Do" list that Veronica left for me. I've been painting rooms, stripping wallpaper, sanding walls modernizing light switches and of course covering up all the little common DIY mistakes.  You didn't think you were the only one who made them did you?  Half of the attainment of a reputation as a competent DIYer is dependent on your development of skills at hiding/correcting mistakes.  Calling in a contractor doesn't count. **A Common Mistake** I don't care how careful you are, but when you're using a roller to paint your walls, there's going to be a moment when that roller is going to roll just a bit too far and make contact with your pristine white ceiling.  See that small green spot up there?  Ignore it if you like, but I assure you your spouse will point it out. In most cases, touching up the ceiling paint is pretty simple.  A cup of ceiling paint, a ladder and a brush and you're good to go.  Unless of course you have pop-corn finish ceiling paint.  I once tried to paint over it and had the pop-corn fall off the ceiling and land on my face. **Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Ultra Cover Flat White Paint** **Rust-Oleum **produces this flat white paint for use on wood, metal, wicker and more.  Well here's a **great time-saving tip**.  One of the "mores" I've found is covering up those green spots on my white pop-corn ceilings.  Rust-Oleum may not mention it, but the color of this paint is a perfect match for ceiling paint. I simply take a piece of cardboard out of one of my laundered folded shirts and protect the adjoining wall with it.  One or two very quick sprays eliminates/hides the problem almost instantly.  The paint dries to the touch in 20 minutes, can be handled after 2 hours and is totally dry in 24 hours.  But if you're using it on your ceiling none of this matters.  Once you replace the ladder and the can of paint, you're done. **Caution** As with most spray paints this paint contains things like acetone and xylene.  You don't want to be inhaling them.  Wear a disposable painter's mask. **My Viewpoint** Doing all this stuff around the house is job enough.  Anything that will help you to correct or hide mistakes is a bonus.  I highly recommend **Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Ultra Cover Flat White Paint.** Rudi
