Rush Hour 3 Review Summary

"Rush Hour 3 isn't quite the rush the first two provided," yet reviewers feel "Jackie Chan is still the best at what he does." Chan is well-known in the martial arts movie world, appearing in such films as Kung Fu Panda and The Forbidden Kingdom. Reviewers feel "his fight scenes are beautifully choreographed with humor and imagination" with "a lot of comedy and action." However, some also feel that Chan and costar Chris Tucker "need to move on to something new" after filming Rush Hour 3 "about the World Criminal Court trying to track down a secret society of Chinese criminals." Upsetting to some were the "racial, sexual, and overall juvenile jokes" filling 90% of the film, yet other reviewers still see Rush Hour 3 as "wicked, wickedy funny."

I typically wait for movies to come out on DVD before I see them but I made the exception for this one and went to the theater. It was not a let down. My boyfriend talked me into watching the first Rush Hour and I really enjoyed it. I definitely thought Rush Hour 3 was better than the first one. It was... review »

Jackie Chan still has it. His fight scenes are beautifully choerographed with humor and imagination. The out takes that play while the credits roll are funny and worth hanging around to watch. That's all I can say to recommend this film. I really did not know that it was possible to over do "the... review »

The previews hyped the movie up and it turned out to be a big disappointment.  The jokes are tired now.  Although there were a few new jokes.  We have waited so long for the sequel that you would think they would have put more effort into the movie.  I must admit the plot was halfway interesting but it still wasnt worth the price of the movie.  Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker need to move on to something new and I should of had a V8 instead!

For everyone who says that Hollywood is out of original ideas,  you have no one but yourselves to blame.  With all the characters who have made their 3rd appearance on the big screen in the last 3 months alone (Spider Man, Jack Sparrow, Jason Bourne, and Shrek to name a few), you might think at least one of those films experienced some sort of box office backlash.  Instead, 3 of them have made over $300 million, while Bourne is well on his way there it seems.  What can we say, other than we love familiarity at the box office?

Probably the least hyped threequel of the summer arrived just over...

Chris Rock and Jackie Chan are at it again. If you liked the first two, you'll probably like this one- it's of the same stock.

This film is about the World Criminal Court trying to track down a secret society of Chinese criminals. Throughout the film, the basest racial, sexual, and overall juvenile jokes you can possibly imagine make up about 90% of it. From teasing a fat girl, to a gigantic Chinese martial artist, to a nun having to translate a profanity filled interrogation, to desperate attempts to get laid repeatedly being thwarted, to a bad driver who goes from sour America-hating...

a really good movie. I love all the rush hours, but this one is the best because chris tucker is getting better at fighting and hes really funny. Jackie chan is funny to hope they make a new rush hour. This movie had a lot of comedy and action, i love how they work together as a team, most of the time you cant find two people who cant work together. I am a true comedy fan, chris tucker is one of my favorits he can be serious and funny at the same time. Jackie chan well he is a good martial arts fighter i ever seen i thinks he can beat jet lee lol.

great movie best rush hour yet cant wait to see when they do a 4th one and see how it is, great storyline and plot, both did a great job at reprising there role as  det carter and chief inspector lee,  like how the implemented phrases from the first 2 films great martial art scenes, christ tucker has gotten a whole lot better at it, really cant wait till the fourth one comes out hopefully.

This is just like Rush Hour 1 and 2 involving a plot, both detectives and funny scenes. The movie is funny with Chris Tucker being his natural and funny. Jackie Chan eas funny to this time. The plot appeared to be odd, but then its Rush Hour and Chris Tucker. Great Movie to watch or rent!
