Running Away Multisport is the best at fitting running shoes
appreciate nice things, not a fan of chain stores, budget conscious, quality conscious, adventurous

Running Away Multisport - Chicago, IL —
For the past four months I have been talking about how badly I needed to buy new running shoes. I hadn't bought a new pair in over 2 years and was more than due.My sister had mentioned to me that since I had started to run 5ks I should really go to a place that specialized in running shoes and have them fit me for the perfect shoe. After a a few breaks in the awful Chicago weather I was able to go running again outside and was convinced my old shoes had to go.
I had walked by Running Away Multisport many times so I decided to check it out one day after work. I am so glad I did! The woman who helped me was great and not pushy by any means. She had me first run in a neutral shoe on a treadmill so she could see how my feet hit the ground. She then showed me which shoes she recommended and started by pulling two shoes with the same structure and cushion but were different enough that based on which one I liked she would know how to go forward.
I think I tried on about 8 pairs of shoes and she even kept her cool with me as I commented on the color and if they made me look like Sport Goofy. After about 45 mins I had it narrowed down to two pairs and with the help of her and another sales associate I finally decided on the Saucony Grid Fastwitch which was even the cheaper of the two!
I am very happy with my experience and with my new running shoe!
