I bought this mop because I figured if the professionals use it then it must work well. I've seen these twist action mops at malls all around, so I figured they must work better than other kinds of mops. Otherwise why would every store use them? I feel like I am just spreading dirty water around my floor when I use this mop. I pick up dirty things from the floor, then put the mop in water that at one time was clean but no longer is. I wring out the mop and use it again. How is this in anyway sanitary? How is it cleaning my floors at all? I can't wrap my mind around how this works for anyone else. I love that you can wring the mop out to really get the water out of it. But that's where the love stops. This mop, quite simply, is horrible. It doesn't clean anything and, is actually, quite gross if you give it any thought. I would not recommend it and would actively recommend against it to anyone thinking of buying this.

I am a huge fan of the Rubbermaid Twist Action Mop. That is not to say that I haven't tried more than my share of fad mops, I own a Swiffer and a Shark, as well as two vacuums, but at the end of the day I find nothing gets my floors quite as clean as a good old fashioned scrubbing. I use the Rubbermaid Twist Action Mop to mop about 3000 square feet or mostly wooden floors with a tile kitchen. It works great on every inch of them. The mop is easy to use, the twisting allows you to squeeze out as much or as little water as you choose. Once you have accomplished that you can go about mopping. The mop head covers a reasonable amount of flooring, as the "hair" as my daughter calls it spreads out quite easily. Difficult spots are easy to remove by applying a little force to the bar. With a good rinse, it comes out looking just as blue as ever, my mop head isn't stained at all despite pretty frequent use. This is the mop that I fall back on time after time as other option are never quite as good, nor as cost effective. I've been using this mop for about ten years, an am only on my first replacement.

The Rubbermaid Twist Action Mop has been good in my workplace where we have wood or tile floors that get some seriously sticky or caked-on messes, especially in corners, and even on low portions of wall. A lot of kids are around at once, so candy, food, soda, and just the mess of so many muddy feet causes a lot of spot-mopping situations. I don't recommend it for mopping across a large broad floor, because it doesn't fan out as much as most traditional rope mops; it simply can't cover a lot of space at one time. It has been the most useful when I have to scrub a small area quite hard. Its been easy to rinse out, and sturdy enough to handle bleach and other tough chemicals. I think this mop is best in a place such as a cafe or small shop serving any kind of food-it's very handy to get it out and put it away in a hurry. It is also good to be designated for small unsanitary messes at work too, but I recommend it most for sticky spills.

I do house cleaning and pay close attention to my clients needs. I needed another mop and like the look of the Rubbermaid Twist Action Mop, but after getting the mop and trying to use the mop I found if very difficult to handle and get the mop to function properly. I like the yarn on the mop it's that the yarn does not fan out to give you a good cleaning tool. I would be very careful before purchasing this product.

I use this mop in our preschool classroom. It took me a little while along with some patience to try to figure out how to work it. Silly, I know, but I have this belief that a mop shouldn't require instructions. I think that this mop does a decent job of cleaning tile floors. Our floors are white tile in our classroom- so every spill shows up! I used this mop and it did a great job getting up spilled paint, and mud. I like the twist handle to make wringing it out easy. My hands were able to stay dry while I wrung out the mop. I'f always heard that this type of mop is ther very best way to get clean floors. I'm not sure it is the best, but it did clean up some tough stains in the classroom. I do not have this mop at hop, and I don't think I will purchase it for at home. I think it is pricey for the job it does. It seems to be absorbant enough and worked well at our school. I'm not sure how well it would work on hardwood floors.
