Rubbermaid Premier Storage Containers Review

Bottom-Line: Our search for the quintessential storage container is over.  Rubbermaid to the rescue again.

If your cabinets were anything like ours, they are (were) filled with mismatched storage containers of all makes and models.  Yes, from Glad, to Rubbermaid, to Sterile, we had them all and over time they became a disorganized rabble of stained, frayed, and stray storage containers that were getting hard to look at and manage. 

Finally my wife spoke up and dropped a few hints that perhaps we should throw out the old and usher in a new set of matching and functional storage containers.  As it happens I ran across Rubbermaid's new Premier line of storage containers while surfing Amazon.com but a week later.  And they seemed to be just what we needed, so we bought them in all shapes and sizes.

Rubbermaid makes the Premier plastic storage containers in various square-shaped sizes from small 1.25 cups and 5 cup, up to 14 cups, and points in between.  The containers come with tough rubber lids that snap firmly into place over a given container.  In addition the lids lock together for easy storage and the containers slide inside each other for easy stacking inside the cabinet. 

The Rubbermaid Premier plastic, stain resistant storage containers can go from freezer to refrigerator, to microwave, to dishwasher, and survive the trip quite nicely. 

My Viewpoint

Our cabinets are now full of scores of made-in-America Premier plastic, stain resistant storage containers.  Gone are the other containers, given away as it were to charity.  What lays in wait instead are two neat rows of stackable clear plastic storage containers of the same make and model.  To be more precise we bought six each of 1.25 cups; 2 cups; 3 cups, and; 5 cups; as well as 3 each of 9 cups, and; 14 cups containers. 

Our search for the quintessential storage container is over.   Did I mention that Rubbermaid Premier Storage containers come with a life-time warranty?  Sweet!
