Rubbermaid Lock-Its Storage Containers are absolutely awesome for the holidays! I bought a set so I could transport various items for our family dinner without fear of spills in the car. They worked beautifully. The lids really do lock with a nice snap so you know that each lid is on safely and securely. The lids absolutely do not come off until you take them off. There is no fear of leaks or a lid popping off in transit. Absolutely no worries at all. This is a huge weight off my shoulders when transporting important items from home to home during the holidays. You never want to arrive at your destination to discover that an essential element of the meal has popped the lid and leaked or spilled completely. These are lightweight to carry but very sturdy and are attractive enough that they can even be used right on the table as serving bowls during a family style meal. They are easy to wash as well. I hand wash mine, but they are dishwasher safe. These are really a must have for those who travel with food for family dinners or picnics. They're simply amazing!

I can not speak highly enough about the Rubbermaid Lock-Its Storage Containers. I have been using these storage containers for almost a year and they have really served me well. I use these equally for food storage in my refrigerator and freezer and to take with me for packed lunches. They snap on lids create a real air-tight vacuum seal. I like that I can actually hear the lids snap into place so that I know that the lids are sealed firmly. The different sizes are perfect for my every day needs. One of my favorite uses for these Lock-Its Storage Containers is filling them with fresh fruit so that I have healthy snacks to take with me while I am at work or on the go. They are the perfect size for storing pineapple, apples, oranges, cantaloupe, mangos and watermelon. The containers do an excellent job at keeping the freshness of the fruit locked in and do not dry the fruit out. The containers work equally well for freezing. These containers have served me well and saved me a lot of money too. Now, instead of any food going to waste I can put them in one of these containers and either freeze them or put them in the refrigerator for leftovers.

I recently purchased the Rubbermaid lock its. I love these containers. I can make sure the lid is on without fighting it. The lid comes off very easily after unlocking each side. These are great containers for small children since they can hear the clicks to know that the lid is on all the way.

I bought this product mainly because of what is says in product description 'Four locking tabs create an extra secure lid seal that helps keep food fresh and prevents spills'. Unfortunately, it doesn't meet my expectation. Just a little tilt and it spills the liquid content. It's a total rip-off!

I bought these thinking they were air tight but they're not even water tight. When I put some water in the containers and turned them upside down the water started dripping out. I wouldn't buy these again because Lock & Lock makes airtight container for a cheaper price that actually work. I don't think anyone should buy these if they're for spices or liquids. Since they aren't airtight or watertight if you put liquids in it and leave it in the fridge you'd be running the risk of something else in the fridge with a strong odor changing the flavor of the liquid. They're alot better then regular plastic container. They look nice. The 4 locks keep your foods secure. I'd recommend Lock & Lock containers instead. They're cheaper and airtight unlike these. Pros: Great quality, keeps food fresh Cons: Not airtight, Not watertight

My cabinet was overflowing with mismatched storage containers and lids. I'd grown frustrated with how much space my unused containers were taking up and annoyed that it took me forever to find just the right size lid. The Rubbermaid Lock-Its Storage Containers helped solve my problem. They stack neatly within each other and the lids stack themselves as well. The set I had has 4 different size containers - the difference is in depth - but only two different size lids which makes it easier to find the right size lid. The only difficulty I've had is that the lids did warp slightly after being run in the dishwasher. They are dishwasher safe, but it has become a tighter fit to properly lock the container lids.

I have used the Rubbermaid brand for years and have always been perfectly happy with them, and then I found the Rubbermaid Lock-Its storage containers and are extremely happy with them. You know you have a really solid seal when you hear them snap into place. You will never have to worry whether or not your containers are totally sealed or not.  I stack all mine together in the cupboard and they are certainly easy to differentiate  between this brand and another by the color of the tops. They are pretty to boot! I can put them in the freezer, the microwave and the dishwasher and not worry that they will come out warped or anything because they are really nice and thickly constructed. The tops are easy to put on, no fighting one side from the other. They help to keep strong smelling things like onions from taking over in your refrigerator too. I would recommend these to anyone from the newlywed to the seasoned baker in your family.
