I love to hang my laundry outdoors to dry! To me, the actual process of hanging my laundry on the clothesline is very relaxing and I choose to do so whenvever the weather is permitting. I really welcome this quiet, early morning time; it is so peaceful!

Unfortunately, wet laundry is very heavy. And, it is even heavier yet when the load must be carried up a whole flight of stairs from the laundry room to the main floor. Then, transported again from the main floor to the outdoors. Using a standard laundry basket was definitely becoming out of the question because it puts so much strain on my back....

I wanted a laundry basket that could stand the test of time. One that wouldn't crack under pressure! And besides, I already have Rubbermaid products in use!

Other brands of laundry baskets are cheap and flimsily made. They start to crack and break...

You can always count on Rubbermaid to make a good quality product. I have this basket. It is easy to carry, not flimsy like some less expensive baskets.

The handles work perfect to kind of fit against your hips that makes it easy to carry and hold with one hand. Good size. I can't complain about anything with this clothes basket.

I have used less expensive laundry baskets for a long time.  I got tired of the handles breaking and the fact that they bent and broke after a short time.  I was in need of a new basket a few months ago and went shopping.  I was faced with either buying another easily affordable basket (or maybe two or three for the inexpensive price) or buy one that cost more.  I was impressed by the reinforced handles, the fact that is shaped to your body and can be carried easily using only one hand, the heavy duty durability, and how much it would hold. 

The decision was easy and a good decision...buy...

I have had one of these for over 6 years. It is wonderful to not have to replace my laundry basket! I bought it because of the shape - which I love - I like being able to easily carry it with one hand and have it comfortably conform to my body. But the big bonus - it is still going strong! ALL my other baskets have cracked and broken over the years - either from not being durable enough or from not being the right shape for the way I carried them. This one will last forever, it seems!

Who knew you could get excited about a laundry basket!!!!
