WE LOVE THIS PLACE! Great sushi, great prices, great atmosphere, amazing buffet. When you first arrive at Ru San's, the wait staff all scream "Welcome!" in Japanese of course ;)

If you arrive during lunch time, try the buffet. You may think the words SUSHI and BUFFET do not belong in the same sentence, however, the amazing Nigiri and other sushi gets snapped up so fast, and replaced with fresh new sushi so often, that it works quite well. The selection on the buffet is ENORMOUS. Each dish is wonderful. All of this for $9.99. Amazing. The atmosphere is very upscale/Buckhead/trendy, almost like walking in to the set of Blade Runner. Neon and chrome abound and anime plays on the monitors while Japanese pop music fills the air and adds to the scene. Some of the more "snooty" folk in the Buckhead area will say very bad things about a sushi bar that has a "buffet". This is to be expected, as this area of Atlanta is rife with snooty folk. However, it is safe to ignore these people as they will only point you to one of about five places here Buckhead which are expensive enough to merit an "ooh" or "ahh". If quality of food and enjoyment of experience mean more to you than the dollar value on the bill, check out Ru San's!
