I love Rozen Maiden. I'm a huge fan of the manga which is fairly different from the show. But the show is most certainly worth seeing. It's humerous and emotional. And it's all about growing out of your problems and becoming the stronger person. All this is hidden among the Alice Game.

The Alice Game was created by Rozen the maker of the Rozen Maiden dolls. There are seven dolls in all. They all must compete in the Alice Game because whichever of the dolls steals all the others Roze Mystica {which is a ring all the dolls have to show their contract between them and their human owner} get's to meet "father" their creator. And that doll also becomes Alice. The most perfect doll.

Rozen Maiden revolves around the fifth doll Shinku and her human medium Jun who is reclusive and usually nasty. Other dolls join with them because Shinku doesn't want to steal her sisters Rosa Mysticas. She just wants to live with them in peace. It's not to be as sooner than later the fight is on.

It's got a great opening song done by Ali Project. They are one of my favorite Japanese groups. And it's a very endearing story. The plot does move pretty slow but it's woth your time if you like the cute lolita type look, cool spell casting and some cheap humor to soften the edges.

I love this series. Hopefully you can too.
