Ingredients: Alaska Pink Salmon and salt......that's it. 235 mg OMEGA-per serving. 3 servings per can..wow. If you are looking to eat healthy and don't have the time to grill or poach a salmon, let alone buy a wild caught product of Alaska...this is all you! Open the can, drain, flake over a salad. Oil and Vinegar, salt and pepper (yes salt believe it or not..) and what a great meal. If you can eat tuna from a can, there is no reason to avoid this. Never tried cooking it, I never saw a reason but may try salmon burgers. Triple thumbs up!

Canned Salmon? Yes Seriously

This is an interesting product, I think when most people hear canned salmon it scares them away. Its strange since most people are familiar and go with canned Tuna all the time. Its essentially the same concept except you do get some more nutritional benefits with salmon that are different than tuna. The cans are almost the same price which is interesting since salmon is a more expensive fish. You can't really cook this salmon the same way you would a filet but its great for other recipes like salmon salad ( like tuna salad but with salmon ), salmon cakes ( like crab cakes but with salmon ) and salmon burgers. This product is surprisingly fresh even though its in a can. You have to make sure to let it drain though before cooking anything with it or it will be soggy. It tastes good, not as good as fresh but surprisingly good for it coming out of a can. I recommend this as a way to change up your canned fish options. Tuna's great out of a can but so is Salmon and you can do more with it!
