Royal Caribbean - Voyager of the Seas Reviews

Let me start with my cruise history. The Voyager of the Seas was my first Royal Caribbean experience but I have cruised three other times. One time each with Carnival and Celebrity and once on a small ship no longer in service. We are a family of 4 with my kids DS 11 and DD 14. Over all I would rate Royal Caribbean just where I figured it would fall, right in between Celebrity and Carnival. I am writting a review on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines although that is not a specific topic so I had to headline with Voyager of the Seas as this is the ship we are booked on for April. This was our 6th cruise and we traveled to some fabulous destinations in the Mediterranian and Europe.  All stops were as beautiful as the one before.  Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Rome, Naples/Sorrento/Capri, Malta and Palma Miorca. — Overall our ship was great but many parts are showing it's 7-8 years of sailing.  The overall paint was looking good from a distance but close up or from your balcony you could see a lot of peeling and yellow under the white color.  Things like the outdoor mini golf course needed a complete makeover.  It was the worse looking thing on… read full review »

We took the Voyager of the Seas on seven night cruise of the Wester Med in Nov 2007.  The ship was wonderful.  We took our two young children (5 and 2).  The kids club was the highlight for the 5 year old.  She could have stayed there the entire cruise.  Our only complaint was there were no facilities for under 3's.  They had a 45 minute playgroup, but no soft play area where we could just let the toddler go.  There is so much to do on the ship from stolling the indoor promenade, to ice skating, to playing mini golf or basketball on deck.  We had the… read full review »
