I am writting a review on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines although that is not a specific topic so I had to headline with Voyager of the Seas as this is the ship we are booked on for April. I am including some info about this upcoming cruise and I will be happy to review this ship when we return. However, if you are still looking for a very reasonable yet pampering cruise line I think I have the right one for you. From the very start when you are booking you will find competitive rates in all categories. Once you book your rate and room are not locked in stone. If the rate goes down, and they usually do closer to the travel date, all you have to do is call the cruise line and they will match the rate if it's still available. We did this, went from $699 to $499. They offer all kinds of incentives such as pre-booking on the ship for a future cruise any time within 9 years. Any date, any ship, any itinerary, and any port or destination. (We are saving $200 off our room rate this year by pre-booking on the ship last year) If you're like me and would almost let a discount go rather than spend hours on the phone being transferred from one to another fighting for the offered discount then you will love RCCL's policy which seems to be: if it's out there we'll match it, no questions about it. Took me less than 5 minutes, I asked :"Don't you want me to send proof of the price or something??" Easiest savings I ever earned, dropped the price for a 13 night transatlantic cruise from Texas to Spain down to $449 per person plus port fees and taxes around $70. Seniors over 55 save an average of $100 per room. Get a RCCL credit card and pay for the cruise with it while you earn points towards room credits or rate discounts. Now after all the savings be prepared to meet some of the nicest people you will ever find aboard a ship. We have been on many cruise lines and find most all cruise employees polite and so ready to be of service but the RCCL staff go out of their way to make you feel like you are one of just a few on the ship of 2,000-3,000 guests. They make everything they do seem so easy and as if they have nothing else to do but wait on you and make you enjoy your cruise. This will be our 5th RCCL cruise. We call it the cruise line with the "golden handcuffs" because we are now locked in to this line and their unbeatable prices...why would we look anywhere else.
P.S. The food is also delicious and their buffet is a step above the 4 other lines we have cruised on.
Sorry about the post below. Tried to add to this review but ended up as a reply.

P.S. Did I mention this Voyager cruise, 13 nights from Texas to Spain, is only $449 per person plus $68 port fees and taxes after all the discounts??
