We were on Splendour in the Mediterranean. We had a wonderful time. The boat was ok. The colors are old. The materials used in decor seemed cheap. The pool was tiny. To counter, the service was pretty good. We felt that after having paid for the cruise and the upgraded room that the Royal Caribbean still tried to get as much money from you as they could... $20 for a small picture on formal night, expensive drinks, expensive tours and expensive transportation by bus to the towns at the ports. We felt a little ripped when we had to pay $16 just to see the towns once we got off the boats. Couldn't that be included?
