This was our first cruise and so we didn't know what to expect. Once you get on the ship it is unbelieveable. Everything is chrome and glass. It is a city on water. You have one floor that are duty free shops which are not open until you leave port. The dinners are amazing and if you don't want to be in the main dining room you have a pizzeria, a Johnny Rockets 50's type place, you have a buffet that I swear is open 24 hours a day. There are plenty of things to do on the ship but also if you can, when your ship docks at different islands you need to get off the ship and check it out. Royal Caribbean will give you a list of shops that they recommend. These shops are guarenteed by RC and if you need something replaced etc RC will help you with contacting the store.

It is really worth the money you save up to take a cruise. I recommend that you have about $500 for drinks. Coca Cola is not free, water and tea are. So if you like your soda or alcohol you will need to have an account with the ship and charge away.
