Royal Caribbean - Monarch of the Seas —
Just got back from the Christmas cruise 2008. The water was so rough we couldn't stop at Cococay, not safe for the tenders to take us back and forth to the ship, so we went straight on to Nassau. Stayed docked for 2 nights in Nassau. Even though we had poor weather until the last day, our sail back, overall the trip was great. Plenty of food, quality was good, waiter at dinner was excellent, great sense of humor. Saw a magic show, the magician was fantastic. Casino was small and had no luck at all. We also went to Paradise Island to Atlantis. That was awesome also! My daughter's favorite passtime was riding up and down in the glass elevator in the lobby although thereĀ are many other things to do, like rock climbing, fitness room, spa, teen disco, kids play area, toddler play area, shuffleboard on deck, and many lounges. Overall, the cruise was a success and we hope to sail again someday.
