Royal Caribbean - Mariner of the Seas —

Mult problems. Royal Caribbean decided to take our money and sail inspite of a Hurricaine. It prevented any outdoor festivities and almost caused injury outside with winds and no staff to warn passengers. Royal Caribbean Cancelled Bahamas then the captain turned boat around 6 plus hour into cruise bacause of passenger injury. No Emergent help due to weather condition. We ended up back in Florida and restarted cruise without scheduled port stops or excursions paid for. I wrote for some refund of my trip but flatly refused per royal Caribbean. I sent certified letters to all involved and received canned response. Very disappointed and so is my family who sunk all their hard earned money into this. Oh, the final insult was when they drained all the pools and put all lounge chairs away so the last day when the weather was nice no place to enjoy the outdoors. Very disappointed and we "WERE" crown and anchor members. Well,
We are leaving for Hawaii next week on PRINCESS cruise line and Royal Caribbean can Kiss my A--!!!!!!

What were YOU doing cruising in October, the known Hurricane Season? Royal Carribean should not have gone either when this bad weather was predicted. You both took a chance and both of you lost, one of you lost big time. RC got your money but lost you as a customer and lost some reputation by you telling others about your experience. Life is not perfect but there are some things we can do to help make it so. In this case, it would seem that planning a cruising vacation around good weather would have been a wiser choice. We went to Europe on a honeymoon 10/27/62 - it rained and was gray the whole time. We should have gone in May. Still, it was a wonderful honeymoon with lots of good things happening and places to see. Your cruise probably had some good points too. D.E.M.
