Most HelpfulMy husband's family all went on a cruise with Royal Carribean in January 2005. I was a little unsure about going on a cruise in January, but then again the weather is supposed to be nicer in the Bahamas in the winter. We all enjoyed the dinners each night very much but all of the other food served...

We had a great time, great food, attentive staff (night dining & room steward) and we can't think of one thing we had a problem with.
Oh there was ONE thing...... 5 days was too short !!!!!
My best friend decided to get married on the Majesty of the Seas by RCCL. I would never every recommend this ship to anyone unless they are:
1. 21 or younger
2. Looking for a fast hook-up
3. Needing a really cheap vacation
The ship was clean... but could be a lot cleaner. The rooms are small and smelly as there isnt much air flow throughout the long and tiny coridoors. The food, is about eual or worse than Olive Garden. The average age on this ship is about 25. A lot of the females traveling were dressed like they worked the streets and the guys thought they were back in 1980s. This is...
review »Booked a 25th anniversary cruise. From the time we left port to the time we arrived back to original point, the entire trip was fantastic. The care and the attention to detail was impeccable. This by far is the best cruise line that I've traveled with and will travel with them again.
Great JOB!
We were disappointed that the Windjammer ( buffet restaurant ) was closed at times, so the only way to get something to eat sometimes was to pay extra for it. Free ice cream was available in only one spot on the entire ship for only 6 hours/day. Also, the quality of the food was not as well as we expected it would be. Actually, IMO, Carnival had better quality food than Royal. They don't have open seating in the main dining rooms for dinner, so after listening to endless chatter at our table on the first night ( from one of our tablemates ), we ate at the buffet for the rest of the trip.
Royal Carribean's Majesty of the Seas is a great and beautiful ship. It is filled with exciting and fun things to do. My husband and I enjoyed a 3 night company trip. We were under the impression that Royal Caribbean cruises were for an older more serious crowd. I can honestly say that that is completely incorrect. My husband and I are a young couple (ages 23 and 29) and we had a blast. The club was bumping all night. The music was perfect. There was also a party one night on the top deck that was great. The bars and lounges were not only beautiful but also served wonderful...
review »As soon as I stepped on the ship, I felt as though I was dreaming. From the look of the line of almost 300 people, I thought I would wait forever to get on the boat. I was wrong. The wait was short and when I arrived to my room my bags were waiting in front of my door.
Every single individual who worked on the ship was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful.
I am very excited to go on my next cruiser. I am a cruiser for life!
