Royal Caribbean - Majesty of the Seas Review

My best friend decided to get married on the Majesty of the Seas by RCCL.  I would never every recommend this ship to anyone unless they are:

1. 21 or younger
2. Looking for a fast hook-up
3. Needing a really cheap vacation

 The ship was clean... but could be a lot cleaner.  The rooms are small and smelly as there isnt much air flow throughout the long and tiny coridoors.  The food, is about eual or worse than Olive Garden.  The average age on this ship is about 25. A lot of the females traveling were dressed like they worked the streets and the guys thought they were back in 1980s.  This is suppose to be a family ship. Wrong.  Who would take their kids to a makeout session by the pool playing overly loud hip-hop/rap music? Not me.  The drinking is out of hand and the bartendars do not cut people off, and they should.  Girls started flashing people. Tacky and tasteless.

The ports of call were great. Who doesn't love the blue waters of the Caribbean?

The wait staff was great but gave attitudes to just about every table in our group (and there were at least 10 tables).  The crew is over worked for such short turnarounds. Common areas were clean. The Pool Deck areas were clean (despite all the alcohol the young kids were spilling) and the restaurants were clean.  Dont forget to tip.  I was probably reminded 100 times to tip the Matire d', even though I never once saw him.  Now, that is tastless.  Tip what amount you feel is deserved. 

When we disembarked after 3 long days, I couldnt wait to get home.  Not only that, all of us in the wedding caught a virus, the Norwalk virus. Nice.  Now you know why people pay more for the more luxurious cruises. You dont get sick. You dont feel like your in a night club at all hours of the day and you dont deal with TPT.  (If you want to know what TPT, is just ask).
