Most HelpfulOur cruise started on Jan. 3rd, 2008 in Tampa, Fl. The day we left was very cold and windy in Tampa. We were hoping for much better weather ahead. We headed to the Windjammer for a little bit of lunch and then went to see our seating...

Most HelpfulI cruised on Grandeur of the Seas, destination New England and Canada. This was a superb itinerary, with many interesting, charming, and even quirky sidelights. The service on the ship was friendly without being familiar. The ship was kept clean and spit-polished. The food was excellent, varied, and abundant. I'd recommend Grandeur of the Seas for its comfortable atmosphere, entertaining activities, and well-organized shore tours. It's a great vacation value for those who like to cruise!
My first experience with Grandeur of the seas was so wonderful, that 3 months later I went back on the same ship. I still talk about the representation of the food, the wonderful taste, the exellent service.even as a solo traveler,I was never bored, there is so much to do .and I still had sometimes a little quiet time, I really enjoyed the funny games in the evenings. I just had a blast.
I also have to mention the cleaning crew, they did a great job,My cabin was always superclean.
I recomment grandeur of the seas to anyone and I will be back later on this year!
Best trip you can take. once your on the ship, all you need to do is to sit back and relax. I've been on a few cruises with Royal Carribean and during the first day if you plan out your week, your all set. Best time to use the pool is when everyone else gets off the boat to sight see. Not a bad idea if you've already been to a specific island. Service is wonderful. You could not ask for anything more. I would reccomend this cruise line to everyone.
This is one of the best vacations you can take. I go on a Royal caribbean ship at least once per year. I was on the Granduer last October and had a great time. We had to miss 2 of our stops due to a hurricane wiping out 1 island, and a storm closing in on another. The captain did a great job and was able to get us into another port. The only problem we had were the nasty people screaming at the staff for missing ports that they wanted to go to. I think we should have put them in the dingy and gave them a compass. Royal Caribbean cannot control the weather, just like a hotel can't on land.
Had a wonderful trip to Bermuda sailing from Norfolk, VA. Royal Caribbean's Grandeur of the Seas came across to be an older ship, it creaked alot in the middle of the ship, which made you wonder how old it really was. Service was good, food delicious as always but I wished we were in port more than a day & a half. If your taking a cruise for the first time maybe this is a good one to take, as for me I like at least a week.
I took this cruise on my honeymoon, and loved it the best part of this ship near the indoor/outdoor pool is the burger/pizza cafe it is open at least til 3 in the morning and the buffet on board was so great.
this ship offered great shows
LOVE everything
