great first time cruise

First cruise ever and got a great deal on a balcony suite which made this an awesome trip. Took the ship from Tampa to Key West, 4 hours in port there was not nearly long enough! Cozumel was the next stop, glad we selected an excursion on ATVs through Punta Sur Park because the area by the port is pretty small. Our excursion was cool, saw salt water crocodiles, a very small Mayan ruin and an old lighthouse. Lunch wasn't provided, however, so on a 5 hour trip we received a bag of chips and a can of soda. The ship itself is one of the smaller and older ones so there were signs of wear and tear but the crew is fantastic! Tons of activities and they were all fun. Dining wasn't 5 star or anything but good. Buffet had lots to offer, good quality and I am picky about buffets. Recommend the Tampa-Key West-Cozumel trip for someone skeptical of cruising because it's short. I really didn't think I'd like cruising at all and I am already looking to book the next one. I just got back on Feb 18!
