Royal Caribbean - Brilliance of the Seas Review Summary

Few cruises on the site rate as high as Royal Caribbean’s – Brilliance of the Seas. Reviewers who appreciate good service thought that the staff was “amazing”. The stops were a hit with all reviewers with one describing the cruise as a “European appetizer sampler platter”. Sounds tasty! You may not want to bring kids along as 12 days on the ship was, in some cases, a bit too long. Undecided? we’ve got plenty more Royal Caribbean Cruise Line reviews.

My Review of the Brilliance of the Seas Mediterranean Greek Isles cruise, August 2005

We left for a 12 night cruise out of Barcelona Spain.  It was our honeymoon so we splurged, with a balcony room.  We did our research a head of time and book the cruise about 10 months a head of time, which I highly...

Husband gets a phone call from our TA, Lori at Skyscraper Tours.  She has a $600 AFT cabin on Brilliance of the Seas and she tells him it is a great way to rest up from stress on the job.  One week at sea, so sleep for a week in the new pillow top beds with down pillows, & duvet.  The ship isn't selling...

All in all, a great 12 day cruise.  We stopped in Pisa, Naples, Venice, Dubrovnik, Corfu, Rome and Barcelona.  Service was great all around from the cabin person to the wait staff.  Children's programs were great and were running at all times, even during port time.  We had so much to do on our 3 sea days we barely fit it in.  There were probably only two negatives:  1- occassionally the food was not that great; however the wait staff was very in tune with this and offered other selections if they saw we didn't enjoy something.  2- one of our rooms was above the lounge and we could hear... read full review »

I am such  a cruise lover. I would go every few months if I could.  The service is imppeccable, the food out of this world and the ports breathtaking.  My husband and I took our 20 year old daughter and her husband. after they were married.  My daughter didn't wamt to go alone!  They were in heaven and could not believe what a trip it was.  We went on the Brilliance that time, which is a smaller ship but we have also been on the Adventure and the service and food were no different.  Crew is amazing.  After a couple of days. everyone, crew and other passengers are just like l.  Want... read full review »

My husband and I traveled to Barcelona Spain where we boarded this ship.  The service was outstanding and friendly.  The food was beautifully presented each and every meal and menu variety and taste was superior to most resturants.  Our cabin steward was very courteous - though we did not see him much (which is how they are trained to be) And as with most of our other cruises we enjoyed the Art Auctions with such a wide range of artists presented by ParkWest.  We enjoyed their shops and their casino, I can't think of a negative asapect of the voyage Would recommend very highly

I wish there was more time in each port, but that is the nature of cruising.  The ship is beautiful, the service is great and there is plenty to do and stay busy or just relax on board.  This was my third cruise and I will never get tired of it.  The activities on board are endless, something for everyone.  I found myself torn wanting to do everything but having to chose between activities that were going on at the same time.

Wonderful getaway that makes an average person feel like royalty.  You can do as much or as little as you want with so many activities and food and drink available at all times.  It's the best vacation I ever had. I will definately be taking more cruises in the future.

The cruise experience was nice for my family and I. We enjoyed the service and the land excursions. We especially liked St. Johns, Antigua. In St. Johns the beaches, the people, and the FOOD especially was good. I never wanted to leave that place. I had family members that lived there and it was nice to see that for a short period of time. When we left that island i cried and cried. We are planning a trip for next year to go on a cruise ship for royal carribean and my family and i are looking forward to go back to this little, delightful island of pure beauty and finesse.

The royal caribbean cruise was the best adventage i have ever taken.  There are lots of things to do on it.  The food and services were wonderful.    There even a ice skating ring and a mini golf course.  I love the dance lessons they were teaching everyday, I have so much fun learning it.   For though who love to gamble, there is a casino also.  Talk about the food, it is fantastic!  There are so many chocies to choose from.  You will feel like a royally on this ship.  I didn't want to get off after 10 days on it.

This was our first cruise for myself and my wife.  The service was great.  The food was wonderful.  Just an awsome trip.  If you are looking for a trip to Europe then this is the one for sure to take.  The stops and excursions were amazing and breathtaking.  We took this trip for our 9 year anniversary and we are planning another one in May.  We can not wait.

I found a great price on a suite aboard this ship.  The staff was excellent, the food was amazing, and everyone was very interested in making the cruise a dream vacation.  I feel everyone should take this ship, I will definately go again.
