I have always loved this show- and she isn't afraid to say what's on her mind- even if it does get a little PG 13.

Roseanne shows us how people can still live while working a minimum wage job, Her witty and snappy comebacks make this show very enjoyable!
Likes to be entertained, always rooting for the underdog

Roseanne was one of the first sitcoms I really remember being into as a kid. I remember loving it because it was like my family -- none of the cute, squishy stuff from some of the other sitcoms, it showed families that, at times, fought and argued, but always came back together when it REALLY mattered.... review »

I absolutely love this show! Sadly it reminds me a lot of my life growing up!  It's so funny and clever.  I have all nine seasons on dvd plus the special halloween edition.  I think Roseanne is an accquired taste b/c only my husband likes it too.  Both of our parents absolutely detest the show.

A glimpse at a loving, funny yet not so perfect family

Comdey at its best! This is finally a family show that didn't have problems solved within 30 minuets which made it all the more real. This show is addicting. LOL. Yes Roseanne is annoying but on her own show it seems like those feelings are put aside...at least for half an hour. john Goodman shines as Dan Connor. No one else could play that role better than him. Laurie Metcalf is Aunt Jackie. She is a true character. The kids are the Conor kids. They are cute and funny. The cast is an amazing ensemble and the stories have no b.s. The show expressed true hardship between a couple, whether is what...

I loved the show ,i loved all the characters .Jackie was annoying to me she just seemed to be always around .It was not jackie place to get involved with Dan and Rosanne marital problems ,she could not keep a relationship of her own so she had to mess in other peoples life as the old saying goes misery loves company.When jackie got beat her sister was there for her protecting her from that dude,Dan was there for her he beat the guys behind thats what family is for .

I love, love, love this show. I remember growing up watching Roseanne with my parents. So when I got older I decided to revisit the series and buy the DVD's. I am so happy that I did! Roseanne was one of the most realistic sitcoms on TV for the working middle class, but with a great sense of humor. So many things mentioned on the show remind me of my own childhood.

Do yourself a favor and watch!

I HAVE LOVED ROSEANNE SINCE THE FIRST TIME I WATCHED HER SHOW.  THE IS ONE OF THE MOST UNCONVENTIONAL PEOPLE I HAVE EVER SEEN.  BUT SHE IS ALSO ONE OF THE MOST UPFRONT PEOPLE I HAVE EVER SEEN.  WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET.  ALL THE GOOD, AND ALL THE BAD.  NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS.  YOU GO GIRL.

whats not to love-clever, witty and humorous. she has an answer for everything but really does love her family. she never changed her personality throughout the nine seasons. some find it annoying but she had a huge self esteem by still living her life in her own rights.
