Rose Cottage Baby Dress with Diaper Cover Review

This Rose Cottage Baby Dress with Diaper Cover is 100% polyester with a velvety upper part and satiny see-through skirt part with a lining. The bottom of the skirt has matching velvety material around the bottom edge. The waistband area has lace and a bow. It has buttons on the back.

What I like about this baby dress:

• It's beautiful design was particularly well-suited for Christmas with the green velvety material.
• The lace at the waist is sewn down well so that it is not curling up.
• It is easy-care. It is machine washable and you can tumble dry on low.
• It does not tend to wrinkle.
• The matching diaper cover is a nice touch.

The downside to this baby dress:

• Since it works well for Christmas, it would be even better to have a matching sweater. Velvet tends to work better in the cold months, but with short sleeves, you would probably need a sweater or jacket.
• I find buttons a bit difficult to secure, especially with a wiggly baby. I think a zipper would have been easier for me to use.
• It would be nice to have a tagless version for babies with very sensitive skin.

My Viewpoint:

This dress has survived my three daughters. It looks particularly nice at Christmas time, but I would recommend a sweater if using during cooler months.
