The Bottom Line: Make drying clothes fun not drudgery! These are my TOYS not work pieces. I enjoy laundry day now!

This is one amazing dryer. We learned alot purchasing my front load washer (4 brands are all the same unit) & I wanted to end the side opening dryer that I always banged into hanging clothes. Plus we have a large drainage pipe that runs from ceiling to cement floor. So the door bangs into it alot. So hamper door was shown to us & Whirlpool had all the whistles & bells but $499. Roper which is identical to the Whirlpool, and we learn that it is the same unit since Whirlpool owns Roper & only $279. SOLD!

Purchased at Lowes who delivered the next day (Sunday) for FREE & picked up the old units for FREE also.

I washed an enormous load in my new GE Front Load Washer & its final spin is so forceful that the clothes, sheets & towels come out a bit damp. So into the dryer they went, plenty of room for everything.

The controls are very easy to read & use, I set temperature on HOT for cottons & and use the wrinkle free setting which senses moisture & adjusts the heat to the need. ENERGY SAVING! 7 minutes later the buzzer sounds & I was ready to hang clothes. The load spins if you shut the door taking a few things out. The dress shirts looked ironed! Even the Dockers were wrinkle free!

Then I washed my king size comforters & king size pillows. They also fit nicely into the dryer. The pillows fluffed up to max size, looking brand new not 2 years old. The comforters were also fluffed to resemble down filled. My bathroom carpets were fully fluffed that you got foot prints when you stepped on them.

Quite is also a great word. You can chat on the phone without any background noise, so if your laundry room is other than the basement, it will work nicely for you. The lint filter pulls out of the top right corner & you just peel off the lint & pitch it. No more getting down to left out the tiny long filter of the GE that gets lint all over the dryer & clothes as well as the doorway. This is a BIG filter!

I am very happy that is purchased the "white knight of
dryers".

Then I ordered the RACK for drying sweaters or tennis shoes. $19.45 including shipping charged that day to AMEX. a week til I received it & it DIDN'T FIT! I call Roper & they tell me that NO RACK IS AVAILABLE FOR THE EXTRA LARGE CAPACITY DRYERS. Then why did they order it when they had the model # ??? Did get my credit a week later........ I also use my Dyson's hose to clean out the filter area of any that fell off the filter.
