If you've read my reviews before, you already know that I tend to be more of a protein person than a carb one. For a long time, I avoided pasta and only reluctantly served it to my children. Well it seems that I'm not the only one and the pasta manufacturers have heard the message. There have been a number of fairly recent entries into the more nutritional pasta arena over the last few year. Yes, they are still high in carbs, but at least they also now provide fiber and protein. Ronzoni Smart Taste is among the best choices. Like the others, it is higher in fiber and protein, and what's especially nice about it is that it cooks up with the taste, appearance and texture of plain old regular semolina pastas. Because of the fiber and protein, it is not only more nutritious but also more filling, so I am able to serve my children a reasonable portion and know that they are not going to be approaching me in an hour or so complaining about being hungry. I'm so glad Ronzoni heard our cry for a great tasting, better for you pasta! ,

My kids would live on noodles and parmesan cheese if I let them.  This lets me feed them what they like while still sneaking in fiber, calcium and other nutrients.  It tastes just like regular pasta only better for you.  The price is very reasonable as well.  Now if I could only get them to like sauce it would be that much better!  I do not really like the taste and texture of the whole wheat pasta but I know it is much healthier for you than the plain white pasta.  I use it in every recipe that I have that calls for pasta--Spaghetti, baked Ziti, vegetable soup, lasagna, and buttered noodles!  I also make a mean chicken noodle soup with Ronzoni Smart Taste.  I can always find a coupon or a sale that makes it very cheap and when I do I stock up with as much as I can.  I have a cabinent full of the stuff right now!  It helps that everyone in my family likes it as well as I do.  We have it several times a week in different dishes!

  I am a avid coupon user, I search for sales and use coupons on those items. Pasta is one item that I have gotten in several different brands. There is one that stood out more than the rest. And that would be the Ronzoni Smart Taste pasta!    Ronzoni Smart Taste pasta is an enriched white pasta with calcium, Vitamin D and fiber.  It also has zero grams of sodium, which not all pastas do. This would be great for someone on a low sodium diet. Compared to some other "healthier" pastas, this one by far beats the others in taste! There is a certain sweetness about it and the texture is good, not real heavy like some other pastas are. I really enjoy eatting this pasta, making me want to eat it more often than I should! And of course, they have great recipes on thier boxes too!    Price on the Ronzoni Smart Taste Pasta is reasonable and comparable to other pastas on the market. I often find it on sale and for those of you coupon users, you can really get great deals and stock up when it is on sale. Although, if I needed pasta and there was one on sale and Smart Taste was not, I would still go with the Ronzoni Smart Taste!

I don't like whole wheat pasta and wanted a healthy alternative to regular white pasta.  Ronzoni Smart taste is an affordable and tasty alternative!  It provides extra fiber and calcium and that makes me feel better serving it to my family.  I highly recommend all of the varieties!
