This is a basic Showtime Rotisserie and easily roasts a 5-6 pound chicken and makes a tasty roast. It was given to us as a wedding gift and spent the first year in its packaging. When we finally started using it, I was kicking myself for not using it sooner. At first it was used sparingly since it takes up so much room on the counter and getting it in and out of the spare room was a pain. We have since moved and had kids. We have even less space so the rotisserie lives outside on the covered patio. In the summer, it provides great meals without heating up the apartment! The winter is another matter, but as I write this, there is a chicken turning outside getting golden brown! We cook most meals at home and the rotisserie has been fantastic. We probably cook one chicken a week, and use the chicken for two meals. When pork or beef roast is on sale, the rotisserie is used more often. I love that you can put the meat in the rotisserie, set the time and walk away! It frees up the oven for baking sides or bread! I highly recommend the Showtime Rotisserie to everyone and if you are cooking more meals at home these days, this will give you more options!
