I received a sample of this and wow, it smells amazing, but don't spray it on heavily or it can cause migraines to you and others. So feminine and a quality perfume. It does say romance and femininity!

I wore Romance many years ago and always loved it. It has a very soft, slightly floral scent with just a hint of musk. It smells wonderful. Romance is the perfect name for it because it is definitely a romantic scent because it's soft and not overpowering as long as it's not oversprayed as it can be a bit strong...one or two spritz's is all you need, anymore than that will leave people thinking that you marinated in it. :) I believe most women could wear it. I've missed it somewhat but with the vast arrays of newer fragrances that have come out, I can never stick with just one for long. :) Overall, Romance is a very lovely fragrance that I would definitely buy again.

I'm usually not a huge fan of floral perfumes, but I make an exception for **Romance Eau De Perfume Spray for Women by Ralph Lauren.** A couple of sprays of this perfume reminds me of being in love and romantic slow dances, picnics in the mountains, and long walks on the beach with the man I love. Too much of this fragrance smells much too strong and almost like a cheap perfume, but if you use a small amount, (just a small spritz on your neck, wrists, and behind your knees), it smells very nice, innocent, and yes, quite romantic. It's worth the high price that you will pay for it. I always get complimented when I use **Romance Eau De Perfume Spray for Women by Ralph Lauren.** Men seem to be drawn to it and like it a lot, which is always a good indicator that you are wearing a winner. After all, we don't use expensive perfumes to turn on ourselves, do we? We wear them to attract new men or keep our men interested in us and not some pretty young lady across the room, right? If you wear **Romance**, you're going to keep your man interested in you and right beside you...exactly as a good perfume should provide for you! If you don't have a man and are looking for one...I would definitely suggest this scent for first dates or when you're going to be around available and attractive men. Trust me, you will be noticed and feel good about yourself when you're wearing **Romance**. In my experience, it is seemingly captivating to most men. Ralph Lauren Romance is a fantastic fragrance! Has a delicate floral scent - very romantic! The name is a perfect fit! It is great both both day and night, casual, dressy or formal! When layering - using shower gel, lotion and perfume, it is truly a wonderful experience! Long lasting, high quality, a little goes a long way - great for any age! Just wish it wasn't so expensive - but it does make a great gift idea for significant others to get for birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines, Mother's Day or Christmas! I know it's always on my wishlist for others to get me no matter what occasion it is! Try it - you will really like this scent and want more!

I sampled several different fragerances but this one was my favorite. I didn't like it as much when I first put it on, but after the scent changed after being on my skin for a while, I started to really like the warm sweet smell. I know fragerances smell different on different people, but I'd still recommend this to my friends.

Don't make the mistake of spraying too much, you'll have to take a shower! But if you spray just once or twice, it will last all day and cling to you and your clothes and you'll love it and get compliments from women and men! Seriously, this is the best perfume ever, the regular Ralph Lauren Romance, not the Ralph Lauren Romance Always Forever, that one's a bit different. This one has vanilla tones and is fresh and romantic and feminine and beautiful and the smell stays on your clothes, so on a next wear, if they aren't washed, like a sweater or coat, it will still smell really good. This is to ladies perfume as many colognes are to men! It makes you want to know the person. GET IT, you won't regret it.

I don't remember when I first started using Ralph Lauren's Romance, I don't know if I received it as a gift or if I bought it for myself. I do know it was more than a decade ago and I still use it! I've been using it on and off (mostly on!) and love it. Sometimes in the winter I put it away, since I feel it is more of a springy, summery scent. But this last year I used it during all four seasons and loved it too. What I like about it is that you don't need a lot to smell good and at the end of the day there's still a hint of it. I don't like overwhelming aromas, so I find this one perfect for me, plus I use it sparingly. I have received compliments when I wear it, especially from my husband, and from others who recognized the scent. I think the price is reasonable considering how long it lasts. I would definitely recommend this perfume to anyone who wants a delicious, rosy and feminine scent that lasts all day.

Romance by Ralph Lauren comes in this (plain) kind and Always forever. This one is much better!! I don't wear perfume usually but this is the only one I have. The scent is hard to describe, but ads for it do a good job of explaining the contents, which may give you a sense. The best way to know if this perfume is for you, is to try it in the store. It only comes in eau de perfume spray, v. eau de toilette, so it is strong. One or max two sprays are sufficient. I have received numerous compliments from people, both men and women and I usually wear this at night. I do wear it during the day on occassion but find it it turns heads and that isn't the best in professional settings! The perfume is strong enough that it stays on your clothes until a few wears and still smells as good, not old or stale. Of all the perfumes I have recently tried, this one is best. Sephora carries it and will give you a sample to take away, if you ask. It is a great perfume!

Ralph Lauren Romance has been my "signature" scent for the winter months for coming up on five years.  The scent is floral and feminine, and a bit musky.  It's the muskiness that - for me and my body chemistry, at least - relegates it to the winter months.  It's simply a bit too heady for summer.  I've recieved countless compliments over the years on the perfume - some spoken, and some simply beautiful reactions to it.  It's sexy and unmistakably feminine, but no one will mistake you for their grandmother in it.  I love that the scent even carries a sense of mystery about it.  Just a spritz on my abdomen (I'm often a pearl girl, and you have to keep the perfumes away from those!) or on my wrist as I dress in the morning, and the scent lingers well into the evening.  To me, it is a scent that demarkates womanhood (maybe because I picked it out in my early 20's, when I was ready to move past sporty or fruity Bath and Bodyworks sprays and into a more grown-up perfume), and would be an excellent gift for any woman.

**Romance Eau De Perfume Spray for Women by Ralph Lauren whether it be in the 3.4 oz or any other size is by far one of my favorites! I have tried many different perfume sprays through the years and this one is pleasant, mellow and I get compliments when I use it.  A couple of sprays of this delicious floral scent ,and I'm good to go for the entire day. I always have an extra bottle for traveling or just to have in case I run out.  It's a perfume that is for any age and comes in a nice square bottle that is easy to handle.  I highly recommend women trying this out in the store to see if it agrees with them and definitely pick up a bottle.....or two.**
